Meret Elisabeth Oppenheim, née le 6 octobre 1913 à Berlin-Charlottenburg et morte le 15 novembre 1985 à Bâle, est une écrivaine, artiste peintre, photographe et plasticienne suisse.

Elle est membre du mouvement surréaliste à partir des années 1920 aux côtés d'André Breton, Luis Buñuel ou encore Max Ernst.

Mary Leonora Carrington (6 April 1917 – 25 May 2011) was a British and Mexican Surrealist painter and novelist. She lived most of her adult life in Mexico City and was one of the last surviving participants in the Surrealist movement of the 1930s. Carrington was also a founding member of the women's liberation movement in Mexico during the 1970s.

Gala Dalí (born Elena Ivanovna Diakonova, Елена Ивановна Дьяконова; 7 September [O.S. 26 August] 1894 – 10 June 1982), usually known simply as Gala, was the wife of poet Paul Éluard (1895–1952) and later of artist Salvador Dalí (1904–1989), who were both prominent in surrealism. She also inspired many other writers and artists.
